We reviewed the Assessment in terms of Easy, Medium and Hard goals for the client in terms of attainable options for the next year to apply for the certification. Goals were created based on points needed to meet the minimum B Corp requirement. Once the 80 point threshold was reached, the application was sent to B Corp for 6-8 month queue time for review. During the waiting process, we continued to build new policies and invest in new programs and author educational materials for the client to solidify additional points for the Assessment upon review. The client then underwent the first phase of review and waited an additional 5 months for the final assessment. In addition to developing policies, we project managed the entire process with the global compliance team to create and complete supply chain custody standard operating procedures for FSC and non-FSC certified paper and wood products.
